- How do you price your contracts?
- We price a few ways. For smaller engagements we price based on our estimate of the number of hours we expect to take to complete the work. We do this based on the level of complexity, and 'certainty' of the work required. Software estimation is not an exact science and we embrace that reality in our estimation.
- How soon can you start?
- Usually within days, once we've agreed contracts.
- Do you offer fixed-bids?
- For smaller engagements, we can often provide a fixed-bid for a deliverable which can help finance teams allocate money for the work. Rather than a set of hours, you're purchasing a deliverable software component.
- What about testing?
- We believe that quality needs to be built-in from the outset. We typically test-drive (write the tests first) our work to provide a high degree of confidence that the software does what it is supposed to. This also helps us or other developers to extend and work on the software in the future with greater certainty.
